The meeting focused on the presentation of municipal comparative financial statements as of August 31, 2021, and projected results for the end of the 2021 fiscal year. Key financial discussions included the impact of additional tax revenues, transfer taxes, and savings in various budget areas, resulting in a projected surplus. The council also authorized projects under the 2021-2022 sustainable forest management program for the Mauricie region, which covers local road infrastructure maintenance, culvert replacements, and reloading projects.
