The 2024-2026 Strategic Plan for the Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI) focuses on five key pillars: Workforce, Program Excellence, Information Management and Technology, Fundraising, and Public Image and Communications. The plan aims to ensure a diverse and sustainable workforce, enhance program quality and innovation, leverage technology for efficiency and service improvement, secure adequate funding, and build a strong public image. DDI seeks to achieve personal growth and fulfillment for the children and adults it serves through a commitment to valuing people, continuous improvement, measurable outcomes, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and agility. The plan addresses challenges such as evolving service models, changing demographics, and workforce competition, while emphasizing evidence-based practices, autism expertise, and fiscal responsibility.
