The work session focused on the i.t strategic plan, which is an action item in the city of Roswell’s comprehensive strategic plan. The i.t strategic plan was developed in partnership with a third-party consultant, utilizing internal surveys and i.t input. The plan defines the tasks to be completed by the i.t division over the next five years to better position the i.t division as a strategic partner. The aim of this work session is to get input and buy-in from the council on the plan’s objectives. The discussion included guiding principles, measurables for success, project success deliverables, current and desired states, and strategic initiatives.
