This strategic plan outlines the Florida Digital Service's approach to achieving a Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) across the state enterprise. It aims to modernize Florida's cybersecurity infrastructure, protect digital assets, and sustain public services. The plan is structured around five foundational strategic objectives: establishing a federated Identity and Access Management (IAM) framework, securing all endpoint devices, enabling secure network access, achieving application-level visibility and management, and treating data as the new perimeter. The overarching goal is to position Florida as a leader in cybersecurity resilience, ensuring a secure, adaptive, and trustworthy digital environment for its citizens and government operations.
