Further actions included project approvals for sand retention, park improvements in Riverside, upland habitat restoration in Orange, coastal resilience solutions for San Diego state parks, trail development for the Great Redwood Trail, forest health improvements, floodplain restoration at Red Cap Creek, habitat restoration at Wood Creek, land acquisition for preservation in Mendocino County, river restoration, agricultural land acquisition, and trailhead and trail development at Watsonville Slough Farm.

The board authorized numerous grants and projects focused on ecological restoration, coastal access enhancement, wildfire resilience, and climate change adaptation.
