The Commission reviewed the Critical Areas Ordinance, Checklist, and Comprehensive Plan in preparation for a future public hearing. Additionally, they discussed procedural changes for OMC Title 17 and 19, agreeing to forward specific footnote changes directly to the City Council. The meeting also included a city update regarding the upcoming public hearing for a new Park and Rec Plan, as well as notification of a scheduled discussion with FEMA and the DOE concerning new flood mapping and insurance.

The Commission held elections for Chair and Vice Chair, electing to continue with the current leadership for another year. Discussions were held regarding Omak Municipal Code Title 17 and 19 procedural reviews, specifically regarding the reduction of redundant open public hearings for final plats. The Commission also reviewed the draft Critical Areas Ordinance and Checklist, noting upcoming deadlines and the need for future public hearings. Additionally, updates were provided on city projects, including residential developments, the DNR project, and the new TranGo facility.

The Council approved several public works contracts, including projects for pipe upgrades at the Stampede Arena, water valve inventory replenishment, well pump inspection and maintenance, and reservoir cleaning services. Other key discussions included the purchase of a new fuel tank from Moses Lake for the infrastructure department, updates on the usage of Affordable Housing funds, the upcoming recruitment process for a new City Attorney, and scheduling information regarding a visit from the Washington State Treasurer. Additionally, the Council addressed a public inquiry regarding the Omak Library Board appointment process.

The Council passed several resolutions, including an agreement with General Code for codification services, the purchase of a new 2027 Ford Police Interceptor, and an update to the city's construction standards regarding illumination systems. Additionally, the Council approved the surplus of a 928G loader. The meeting also included staff reports concerning the community revitalization project of the local Rose Garden and the development of an agreement regarding water infrastructure.

The meeting included an overview of the Comprehensive Park Plan and the process for its development. Public comments were addressed regarding the alignment of plan goals with citizen feedback from a previous park survey. The Board voted to recommend the Comprehensive Park Plan to the City Council for formal adoption and approval. Additionally, the Board discussed setting a future meeting to brainstorm goals and tasks for upcoming projects.
