Actions included the appointment of a Secretary to the Board of Revision and an interim member to the Brandon Police Board. Additionally, the council approved two resolutions for submission to the Association of Manitoba Municipalities concerning the re-establishment of the Assiniboine River Basin Initiative and the expansion of Bail Navigator and Bail Verification and Supervision Programs. Finally, the council conducted a first reading of a by-law regarding the opening of a portion of public road.

Key actions included approving a capital expenditure for a replacement police vehicle, directing the administration to implement 24/7 downtown washroom access, adopting the 2026 financial plan, and accepting the 2025 financial information return. Furthermore, the council amended a subdivision conditional approval, appointed two citizens to the planning commission, authorized the allocation of housing accelerator funding, and gave first readings to three new by-laws related to tax levies, rezoning, and land conveyance.
