This document outlines the Ranger Independent School District's Wellness Implementation plan, focusing on four primary goals. The meeting included discussion and presentation of test score improvements, board goals, and a potential land donation from Ranger College. Employment contracts were approved for an Elementary Principal and a Curriculum Director. The District of Innovation Plan for the 2025-2026 school year was approved. Additionally, the signature card for the elementary activity account was updated.

The Ranger ISD Board Goals focus on improving early childhood literacy and numeracy, as well as increasing career, college, and military readiness (CCMR). Key outcomes include increasing the percentage of 3rd-grade students scoring at or above grade level on STAAR Reading and Math, improving student performance on the CLI Engage measuring tool in 1st grade, and raising the CCMR percentage of Ranger ISD graduates.

The board meeting covered the district's superior rating for the 2022-2023 school year. Discussion included potential airport hanger expansion plans, student and staff recognitions, approval of investment tools, reappointment to the Eastland County Appraisal District board, approval of the district auditor's engagement letter, approval of a TASB policy update, and setting daycare charges. The superintendent's report addressed employee attendance policy, legislative session updates, stipend review, bids for new AC units, surplus property deadlines, and a pending lawsuit. School board training was also discussed.
