The overarching goal is to advance racial equity and reduce disparities within the state's child welfare system.

The meeting also ratified loan agreements according to the Agribusiness Enterprise Loan Program.

The meeting included discussions on supporting the MS Emergency Communication Authority (MECA) and the MS National Emergency Numbering Association (NENA), reviewing the role of GIS at the MML Conference, and assessing the utility of the bi-annual national Geospatial Maturity Assessment.
