The Birch Run Area Schools Board of Education convened for a regular session, addressing various personnel matters, including the hiring of elementary and middle school teachers, as well as coaches for cross country, football, and volleyball. The board also approved the wrestling team's travel to Cedar Point Sports Complex and adopted the Michigan High School Athletic Association Membership Resolution. Additionally, the board adopted revised and new appropriations resolutions for multiple funds. The Birch Run Area Schools Board of Education convened for a regular session, during which they presented the Teacher of the Year and Support Staff of the Year awards, as well as the School Bell Award. The board approved several personnel actions, including the hiring of a paraprofessional and elementary teachers, and a JV Boys Basketball Coach. They also approved the Saginaw ISD's proposed General Operating Fund Budget for 2025-2026 and set a date for a special board meeting to present the proposed district budget. Additionally, the board approved the purchase of staff Chromebooks and Google Chrome OS Management Licenses. They also approved travel for the Volleyball team, High School Cross Country Team, and High School Boys Basketball Team.

The Birch Run Area Schools Board of Education convened for a regular session, addressing several personnel matters, including the hiring of Alyssa Williams, Kathryn Hopkins, Logan Bovee, Morgan Rex, Julia Gibbs, and Kristen Wischman as paraprofessionals or assistant coaches. The board approved the purchase of GSRP classroom furniture, supplies, and curriculum. They also approved a resolution for a special election to be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and approved Thrun Law Policies (New & Revised). Additionally, the board approved a multi-year commitment for products and services through NWEA, a proposal from HMH Education Company for the purchase of Into Reading K-5 Version, and a quote from Tri County Equipment for a John Deere Compact Utility Tractor and accessories.

The Board of Education addressed several action items, including the hiring of an Assistant Football Coach, paraprofessionals, a Foodservice Cafeteria employee, a Middle School Special Education Teacher, and a Counselor. They adopted a Thrun Policy, approved Student Handbooks for the upcoming school year, and approved the purchase of classroom furniture. The board also discussed participation in the Homecoming Parade and went into a closed session under the Open Meetings Act.

The Birch Run Area Schools Board of Education meeting included accepting the hiring of multiple paraprofessionals and a 7th Grade Volleyball Coach. The board also certified the tax levy for operating purposes on non-homestead properties and for retirement of debt purposes on all properties, authorizing 100% of the certified millage levy for collections on December 1, 2025. The Board also discussed the parade and Athletic Association.
