The Library Committee meeting agenda focused on several key items. Business discussions included providing an update on the MPR Explorers @ The Point event scheduled for January 29th, covering volunteer program structure, discussion regarding animals in the library, planning for the Summer Reading Program 2026, and a recap and discussion of the 7th Annual Art Show held on November 15th. The Art Show discussion involved logistics concerning ribbons, judging, supplies (including popcorn machine discrepancies), advertising, and food/drink assignments. The agenda also included a review of the Treasurer's Reports for November and December 2025.

The City Council meeting discussed and adopted the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Annual Budget. Key items included property tax rates, total debt obligations, employee staffing, and revenue and expenditure summaries for various funds such as the General Fund, Water Fund, and Marina Fund. Budgeted transfers between funds were also reviewed.

The City Council for the City of Morgan's Point Resort, Texas, will hold a public hearing on the FY 2025/2026 Proposed Budget. The meeting will be held for the purpose of receiving community input on the budget. The FY 2025/2026 Proposed Budget can be found on the City's website or in hardcopy at the City Secretary's Office.

The City Council will hold public hearings on the adopted FY 2025 budget and on the adopted FY 2024 budget. The amendments pertain to recognizing Revenue and Expenditures for the Fiscal Year 2024 adopted Budget, and transferring funds between departments for the adopted budget for FY 2025.

The Zoning Commission meeting agenda includes the approval of minutes from the May 7, 2019 meeting, a discussion and possible action on a nomination for Mrs. Andrea Hankins to the Zoning Commission, and general announcements and citizen comments.
