The joint meeting included reviews for the Weigels Convenience Store and Auto Spa site plan, which was approved by the Design Review Committee and conditionally approved by the Planning Commission. The commission also addressed the purchase of property for wellhead protection at Lay Springs, acceptance of the FY24 audit contract, and the process to procure interim financing for upcoming reimbursable projects. Additionally, the mayor appointed a member to the planning commission.

The board accepted a bid for the CDBG project, requested a well-being check on an individual, and agreed to negotiate with a company responsible for damaging Oak Street. Additionally, the sale of a Dodge Charger to Hancock County was approved, and funds were allocated to TDOT for utility relocation. The commission approved a donation to the HMHS Baseball team and accepted a bid for FY26 mowing services. Finally, they approved the use of unspent capital for a Bobcat MiniX.
