The City Council convened for a special session, addressing the canvassing of returns and declaration of results for both the General and Special Elections held on May 3, 2025. The council approved resolutions for election results, including Mayor and Council positions, and amendments to the City of Willis Home Rule Charter Propositions A through I. The Oath of Office was administered to newly elected officials. Additionally, the council discussed declaring a vacancy in City Council Position 3 and ordering a special election to fill it.
