The Vandercook Lake Public Schools Strategic Plan (2024-2029) focuses on creating a safe and positive learning environment, implementing effective curriculum, attracting and retaining exceptional staff, improving the learning environment through a five-year operations plan, and utilizing effective communication methods to foster collaboration among stakeholders. The plan's vision is for students to believe in themselves, achieve success, and soar to greatness, while partnering with the community to empower students to become independent, productive citizens and lifelong learners. Specific goals include reviewing and improving PBIS/SIT processes, implementing new ELA curriculum, creating HR process maps and revised job descriptions, developing a five-year operations plan including bus routing and facility improvements, and developing a comprehensive communication plan.
