The commission reviewed revised drawings for Huntrise Lane (N/A), postponed Thornbury Day until 2021, and set goals for 2020, including providing a historic listing on the website, engaging other historic resource owners, and inviting Nancy Needham to join. They also advised the Chester County Economic Development Council regarding the use of a building within the Cheyney University Historic District.

The commission discussed several key topics. Aqua's request to build a shed on S. New St., located in the Brandywine Battlefield, prompted a decision to communicate concerns to the Brandywine Conservancy. Plans for 4 Huntrise, requiring a variance, were reviewed, with the commission agreeing to support the proposal and participate in material selection. A public meeting was requested by Toll for the S. New St. intersection, and the commission will seek support for the project. The cancellation of 2020 Thornbury Days was noted, and plans for the 2026 sesquicentennial celebration were discussed. The possibility of South Concord becoming a state byway was also considered, and an informal meeting with the Westtown Historic Commission was planned.

The Thornbury Township Planning Commission reviewed and discussed revisions to the Thornbury Township Zoning Ordinance, focusing on veterinary clinics, doggy day cares, adult day care centers, signs, street parking, and natural resources. A motion was made to recommend the adoption of the Zoning Ordinance to the Board of Supervisors.

The Planning Commission reviewed and approved a minor subdivision plan for a property located at 40 County Lane, involving the subdivision of a 5.97-acre lot into two tracts. The plan did not include any new sewage disposal or water supply proposals.

The commission reviewed and provided feedback on an Aqua proposal, deemed inappropriate, and requested further options. Discussions included plans for a new veteran's memorial and renaming of structures at the Town Center. Future goals involve increased historical signage and outreach to historic resource owners, including a Zoom meeting planned for February 25th, 2021.
