The North Middleton Township Board of Supervisors meeting covered several topics including a discussion about drainage concerns in the Crest View and Glenn View area, presented by Lee Rueger. The board approved the Final Subdivision Plan for the Villages at North Ridge Phase 5, pending the resolution of all engineering comments. They also approved a conditional offer of employment to Cadet Austin Matthew Coldren. Updates were provided on the Post Road repairs, the Growing Greener Grant for the landfill, and the Trash & Recycling RFP. The board ratified the Purdue Pharma L.P. & Sackler Family Settlement Overview and adopted Ordinance 2025-06, which updates and amends provisions of the Zoning Ordinance to provide for the uses of Data Centers and Battery Energy Storage Systems. The Board discussed the proposed Assistant Stormwater Coordinator position and decided to remove it, replacing it with Public Works Department Salary and allocating $100,000.00 for this line item. They also discussed changing the Stormwater Fee in 2026, considering adding it to the real estate tax bill as a separate line item and cutting the fee in half. The Board reviewed the revised Fire Fund budget and determined that the proposed tax increase should be removed. Several versions of the General Fund budget were requested for the next meeting.

The Board discussed the 2026 budget, focusing on possible changes to the Fire Fund and the Stormwater Fund. The Board directed Dana Billet to remove some items requested by Department Heads and to make additional adjustments. The Board requested Doug Reeder, Public Works Director, to attend the next meeting to discuss Stormwater.
