This Sustainability Strategic Plan for Colorado State University serves as a roadmap to enhance sustainability outcomes, guided by STARS ratings for gap analysis, and to achieve the institution's Climate Action Plan goals of 100% renewable electricity by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2040. It adopts a holistic approach by addressing social, economic, and environmental justice across four key pillars: Academics and Research, Administration and Planning, Engagement, and Operations. The plan is a living document designed to integrate sustainability effectively across all university aspects.
