The City of Eloy is notifying property taxpayers of its intention to raise primary property taxes over last year's level. The proposed increase in primary property taxes is $29,446, or 2.00%. The tax increase will cause the City of Eloy's primary property taxes on a $100,000 home to be $97.69. Without the proposed tax increase, the total taxes that would be owed on a $100,000 home would have been $95.75.

The Water Resources Element focuses on ensuring a continuous, adequate, and clean water supply for existing and future residents and businesses. It emphasizes water conservation, augmenting water supplies, and carefully evaluating expansions of the City's Water Service Area. The plan includes objectives such as updating the City's Water Master Plan, reviewing utility fees, monitoring water supplies, coordinating with ADWR, implementing water conservation programs, evaluating direct use of treated effluent, and maintaining the existing distribution and storage system.

The Eloy City Council held a meeting where they discussed various topics including the purchase of a pickup truck, a contract with Rick Engineering for design services of Toltec Road, and a service agreement with Everbridge NIXLE for interactive communications services. They also considered a grant agreement between Pinal County/City of Tucson and the City of Eloy for funding a sworn officer position with the Pinal County Narcotics Task Force.
