There was also a discussion regarding FOIA requests.

The budget hearing included a presentation of the 2024-2025 amended budget, discussion of fund balances as of June 30, 2026, and an opportunity for public comment, which was not utilized.

The Curriculum Committee meeting included discussion of the 2025 Summer school update, Freshman orientation, course updates, Hilight software, College & Career Pathway Endorsement, Parent engagement nights, and Communications Directors role.

The committee discussed the 2025 levy and 2026-27 budget, noting conservative property tax revenue estimates and upcoming collective bargaining agreements. Updates were provided on health life safety projects, facility plans, the main office/guidance office remodel, and the Graves property environmental study. The completion of the land lab and hot water heater projects was announced. Personnel matters included co-curricular list updates and open positions for the 2026-27 school year, along with the potential for dual credit agronomy and ag mechanics certification for Ag teachers. Negotiations were discussed in an executive session.
