The Envision Corinth 2040 Comprehensive Plan is designed to establish the long-range vision and direction of the City of Corinth. It addresses future development through studying current conditions, establishing planning principles and goals, developing a blueprint to achieve the future vision, and creating practical implementation strategies. The plan focuses on community engagement, infrastructure, community facilities, mobility, and community character.

The meeting will include citizen comments, consideration of minutes from the September 16, 2024 meeting, and a financial report. Key agenda items include the election of officers (Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary), an economic development monthly update, and closed session discussions regarding Project "Downtown Corinth", Realty Capital's Chapter 380 Agreement, Fairfield Inn & Suites' Chapter 380 Agreement, and Wolverine's Chapter 380 Agreement. The closed session will involve deliberations on economic development negotiations and potential incentives.

The workshop will include a report and discussion on the Ethics Ordinance and Committee, followed by a discussion of items on the regular session agenda. The regular session will feature a proclamation celebrating Texas Teachers' Day, citizen comments, and consideration of various consent and business agenda items. Consent agenda items include approval of minutes from the September 19, 2024 meeting, contracts for engineering plan review services, asphalt sealing services, and water and wastewater parts. Business agenda items include interlocal agreements for fire protection services, a contract change order for Agora Park, appointments to the Planning & Zoning Commission and the Denton Central Appraisal District Board of Directors. An executive session will be held to discuss legal advice and personnel matters, including the City Manager's duties and oversight of personnel and department structure.

The Corinth Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) meeting will include discussion on the economic development monthly update, site due diligence for City and CEDC-owned properties, and the production of an updated aerial map. A closed session will be held to discuss economic development negotiations related to Downtown Corinth, Millennium, Realty Capital (Chapter 380 Agreement), and Wolverine (Chapter 380 Agreement).

The Corinth Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) meeting will include discussion on the minutes from the July 1, 2024 meeting and financial reports for May and June 2024. An economic development monthly update will be presented, and a proposed amendment to the CEDC bylaws will be considered. A closed session will follow to discuss updates on the Wolverine Interests and Realty Capital projects, and potential incentives for business prospects.
