The agenda includes a public hearing to gather recommendations and comments on the 2019-2020 Riverside Preparatory School Proposed Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)/Federal Addendum and the Proposed 2019-2020 Budget. The board approved several action items, including board policies and regulations, county forms, a membership agreement, modifications to health benefits, changes in work days for bus drivers, the Consolidated Application Report, and the designation of a Custodian of Records. They also approved authorized signatories for student records, memberships to the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), a realignment of the Classified Management Salary Scale, a resolution regarding a previous employee's salary history, and several donations. The board accepted the resignation of the Board of Trustees President, with the resignation effective at a later date.

The board will consider certifying Mojave River Academy's eligibility to submit an application for Dashboard Alternative School Status (DASS). Additionally, the board will consider approving Assembly Bill 216, which would exempt specific students from certain graduation requirements.

The Board affirmed contracts for the Deputy Superintendent and Assistant Superintendents.

The agenda includes a closed session to discuss staff/student personnel matters, negotiations, litigation, and/or the acquisition of land or facilities, including specific legal cases and potential litigation related to a former employee's PERS. The open session covers reports from the Superintendent and business updates, approval of consent items such as meeting minutes, purchase order payments, personnel reports, and agreements with universities and schools.
