This document outlines the Mechanicsburg Exempted Village Schools' vision for its graduates, termed 'Portrait of a Graduate'. The vision is built upon the pillars of ASPIRE, BELIEVE, and CELEBRATE, aiming to empower all graduates for a successful and fulfilling tomorrow.

Board members were assigned to various committees including Athletic, Buildings and Grounds, Finance, Negotiations, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Legislative Liaison for OSBA, and Curriculum. A proclamation was read recognizing School Board Member Recognition Month. Updates were provided on library programming, OHP construction, and Athletic Council activities. The appointment of Treasurer and Superintendent as board members to fulfill HB 9 Record Training Requirement was approved. Supplemental Contracts for the 2020-21 school year were awarded, and approvals were granted for a substitute bus driver, a substitute teacher, and salary schedule advancement.

The board accepted amounts and rates as determined by the budget commission, authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the county auditor. Approvals were made for Vasco to rejuvenate the running track, supplemental contracts for coaching positions, substitutes for the school year, a limited non-teaching contract for a bus aide, and advancements on the salary schedule. An addendum to the Superintendent's employment contract was also approved.
The Board issued commendations to the FFA State Champion Meats Team and Livestock Team, as well as the Varsity Baseball and Softball Teams, and HS Boys and Girls Track & Field. The new Vo-Ag teacher was introduced. Renovation plans for Ohio Hi-Point were discussed. New business items were discussed including Sodexo meal prices for adult lunches and an updated grading scale & class rank policy. A contract for food service management between MEVSD and Sodexo was approved. Several items were approved under the Superintendent's recommendation, including overnight travel for various teams and the 2019-20 school fees. Supplemental contracts and volunteers were approved for the 2019-20 school year. Several staff were approved for advancement on the Administrative Salary Schedule for the 2019-20 school year. Limited One, Two, and Three Year Teaching Contracts, Limited One and Two Year Non-Teaching Contracts, and Continuing Non-Teaching Contracts were awarded. Administrative Contracts were also awarded.
