The agenda includes approval of minutes, communications, approval of a warrant, unfinished business regarding rezoning, a public hearing for the city's fiscal year budget and property tax millage rate, a closed session for police officer and DPW union contract negotiations, and council member and staff comments. There was also discussion regarding the fire department merger, the junior program, and concerns from the public. The budget workshop covered the General Fund, Police Department, Fire Department, Trash Collection, and Capital Outlay, including items such as marijuana tax revenue, state shared revenue, full-time officers, payroll, contract increases, a new mower, computer updates, a new city website, and a new Tahoe for the Police Department.

The meeting included discussion and approval of the agenda, treasurer's report, and new business. New business included the 2025 Food Trucks, downtown digital sign, and Mt. Morris Marching Band 2026 Washington D.C. Trip. The DDA also discussed a maintenance agreement for the D.D.A. parking lot, the FY 2025/2026 budget, and the old green wooden sign downtown.
