The board meeting included a review of the 2026-2027 draft budget, MSOC disclosure, and a preliminary budget review for the upcoming school year. Additional actions taken included the approval of overnight college trips for incoming 8th and 9th-grade students and the formal approval of resolutions numbered 26-510 through 26-531.

The board conducted a special meeting which included a question and answer session with Dr. Watkins, followed by a formal motion to adjourn the meeting.

The meeting included the discussion and review of travel plans for the board and superintendent for the 2026-2027 period, as well as a debrief regarding the superintendent search process.

The meeting focused on the stakeholder interview process for a finalist candidate for employment. The board facilitated a series of sessions including a Q&A with the candidate, a dinner meeting, and a formal board interview. An executive session was held to review the candidate's qualifications, and the meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn.

The meeting included a budget study session, recognition of the Certificated Employee of the Year, and reports from the business office, operations, and the Superintendent. Various operational and departmental reports were presented, including updates from the Yakama Nation Liaison and building administrators. The board conducted the first reading of a new travel policy and the strategic plan, and the second reading of policies regarding opioid overdose reversal, leave, and procurement requirements. New business actions included the approval of donations for an academic success trip, the ARBITER sports website, several overnight student trips for educational and youth programs, and a donation for food pantry equipment and supplies.
