This document establishes the organizational structure and defines general responsibilities within the Franklin Police Department. The meeting included discussions regarding the Voting Security System, appointment of Officers of Election, and personnel issues. The board certified that only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements were discussed in the closed meeting. The Electoral Board relinquished payment of bills to the Interim General Registrar with the Secretary's approval. The board decided to keep Brenda Peterson on staff until the end of March 2025. A letter was authorized to be sent to Ms. Maynard regarding the removal of personal items from the office closet. The board also discussed the upcoming VEBA meeting, bills passed by the House & Senate, and training plans for Electronic Poll Books/Paper Pollbook.

The City of Franklin, VA Electoral Board convened to discuss the Voting Security System, LESS, and to appoint Officers of Election, including Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs, along with discussing personnel issues. The board certified that only matters lawfully exempted from open meeting requirements were discussed in the closed meeting. LESS was completed and sent to the Department of Elections. L&A testing is scheduled with PrintElect, and Electronic Poll Book training for Officers of Election will be held in May.

The meeting included a report from the General Registrar regarding budget adjustments and the completion of a pre-election questionnaire for PrintElect. The board moved into a closed session to discuss the Voting Security System, appoint Officers of Election, and address personnel issues. Following the closed session, the board certified that only lawfully exempted public business matters were discussed. A decision was made not to reimburse for a February 2025 event at the City Council meeting or for delivering call notices for a primary or certificates of appreciation for Officers of Election.
