The Board of Commissioners convened to discuss several key items. The agenda included civic organization and commission reports, city administrator and community development director reports, and financial reports. The board approved the use of Stadium Park and Bluestreak Avenue for the annual Hometown Days event and passed Resolution 25-06, authorizing a street dance with alcohol sales. They also approved an agreement with INA Alert for additional security cameras on the water tower and an agreement with First Due Size-Up for software services for the Neodesha Fire/EMS Department. Additionally, a budget worksession for 2026 was scheduled.

The meeting addressed several key items: a resolution of support for a Safe Routes to School grant application; consideration of the sale or lease of the city's communication tower; approval of a Notice to Proceed document from Maguire Iron for a downtown water tower project; and discussion of a possible future police department facility in the downtown area. The communication tower item was tabled to the next meeting.

The purpose of the special meeting was an executive session to allow for attorney/client privileged consultation. No action was taken following the executive session.

The purpose of the special meeting was a groundbreaking ceremony for a housing project at 122 McCartney Lane, Heritage Estates.

The board meeting included commissioner and city administrator reports, as well as public comments. Key resolutions involved scheduling public hearings to determine whether structures at 1017 Grant Street, 1030 Walnut Street, and 1700 N 8th Street should be condemned. The reappointment of members to the Economic Development Committee was approved. The board also approved Form 1302 for a Safe Routes to Schools project, an engagement letter with UMB Bank for financial services related to a solar project, and the placement of crosswalks on Main Street at 4th, 6th, and 8th Streets. Discussion was held on a potential 4.5-day work schedule for staff and the establishment of an Indigenous Peoples Day, but no action was taken on either item. An executive session was held to discuss an individual employee's performance.
