This Area Plan provides a guide for the physical development of the Town of Beatty, aiming to protect the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens, enhance economic opportunities, and preserve quality of life. The plan is structured around key planning principles: preserving community identity and small-town charm, promoting orderly growth and economic diversification (including tourism, mining, agriculture, and renewable energy), enhancing community services and facilities, and protecting the physical environment.
