The meeting agenda includes informational reports from the DAC, DELAC, and Principal, followed by a public comment session. The Board of Trustees conducted a meeting that included the approval of a settlement agreement for a special education case and the presentation of the second interim budget report for 2025-2026. The Board ratified tentative agreements with both the California School Employees Association and the San Jacinto Teachers' Association, and approved the district's initial proposal for collective bargaining. Furthermore, the board authorized revised salary schedules, approved updated School Plans for Student Achievement for multiple elementary and high schools, and confirmed an employment contract for the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Services. Additional items included the receipt of new job descriptions and proposed collective bargaining proposals, alongside the review of revised board policies and a transportation plan.

The meeting included a closed session addressing student matters, labor negotiations, and personnel issues. The public session commenced with a flag salute and mission statement review. Student performance was presented by students from Edwards Hyatt World Language Academy, followed by site reports from various student representatives. The Community Builders were recognized for their generous donations. Key discussion items included a presentation on Literacy, MTSS, and Student Outcomes. A public hearing was held for the ratification of a Tentative Agreement between the District and the San Jacinto Teachers' Association (SJTA). The Board approved the Personnel Services Report, introduced the new Assistant Principal at San Jacinto High School, and ratified the SJTA Tentative Agreement. Actions taken included adopting a resolution to increase the maximum monthly compensation for regular Board members, approving Comprehensive School Site Safety Plans, approving a stipulated expulsion, approving revised School Plans for Student Achievement (SPSA) for San Jacinto Leadership Academy and De Anza Elementary School, and approving a salary and benefit increase for various management and confidential employees. The contract for the new Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, Mrs. Dulce Noriega, was also approved, and she was introduced.

The meeting included closed session discussions regarding student matters, labor negotiations, public employee discipline/dismissal/release, and performance evaluations. During the public session, student choir members performed. Recognition was given to the Soboba entities and associated community members for their support of Thanksgiving and Christmas events. Key discussions included the Superintendent's report and updates from the San Jacinto Teacher Association and the San Jacinto Classified School Employee Associate. Presentations covered a mid-year update on the 2025-26 Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). Action items included the approval of the Personnel Services Report, approval of routine consent agenda items, adoption of resolutions concerning National School Counseling Week, annual/five-year fees, and environmental review documents. The Board also accepted the 2024-2025 District Financial Audit Report and the Measure Y Financial Audit Report, approved a stipulated expulsion, approved the Title IV, Part A LCAP Federal Addendum, and approved the 2025-2026 School Plan for Student Achievement for Rose Salgado Elementary School. Information items included a new Job Description for Nutrition Specialist and the Williams Quarterly Report for the second quarter ending December 31, 2025.

The meeting included student presentations from De Anza Elementary and reports from various student representatives. A certificate of achievement was awarded to a Student Board Member for securing a full scholarship to Columbia University. The Board approved the Personnel Services Report, introduced two new principals, and received reports and comments from the Board Members and the Superintendent. Updates were provided by the San Jacinto Teacher Association and the Classified School Employee Associate. Key action items included the presentation and approval of the First Interim Budget Report for fiscal year 2025-2026. A Public Hearing was held regarding the Initial Proposal for Collective Bargaining with CSEA, during which no public comments were made. The Board approved numerous routine consent agenda items, adopted a resolution recognizing School Board Recognition Month, and approved the revised 2025-2026 School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) and the updated ASES Program Plan. The session concluded with an Organizational Meeting where new officers were elected, including Sandra Peñaloza as Board President, Nalaisha Burnett as Board Vice-President, and Jasmin Rubio as Board Clerk, along with setting the schedule for subsequent regular meetings.
