Additionally, the commission approved an increase in the contract budget for Skanska USA Building, Inc. to finalize owner project manager services for the Josiah Quincy Upper School project.

The Commission addressed several agenda items presented by the Department of Neighborhood Development. Key actions included approving a grant for foreclosure prevention counseling, authorizing the conveyance of vacant land at 16 Ronald Street for affordable elderly housing, approving a conveyance to Indigo Block Apartments LLC for a mixed-use project in Dorchester, and authorizing the conveyance of vacant land on Bowden Street for a mixed-use affordable housing project. Additionally, the Commission approved tentative developer designations and sales for properties on West Cottage Street and Holmes Avenue, and approved the transfer of land for open space improvements on Center Street. The Commission also reviewed the transfer of care, custody, and management of a property at 15 Everett Street from Boston Public Schools to the Department of Neighborhood Development.

The commission reviewed and approved three conveyances of vacant land. The first vote involved a conveyance to the Boston Redevelopment Authority, doing business as the Boston Planning and Development Agency, for a parcel on Harrison Avenue in Roxbury to be redeveloped for affordable housing and public open space. The second vote involved a conveyance to the 994 Roby Street Condominium Trust for a parcel on Roby Street in Dorchester to be utilized for off-street parking and open space. The third vote approved the conveyance of a parcel on Mount Calvary Road in Rosendale to Kenneth Terry and Lisa Terry to be used as open space.

The commission addressed multiple land conveyance and development designation requests. It approved land conveyances to the Urban Farming Institute Community Land Trust for an urban farm project on Acorn Street, the Sonoma Maple Schuyler Tenants Association for a playground project on Maple Street, and the Codman Academy Foundation for a community open space project on Norfolk Street. Additionally, the commission approved a 16-month extension for the tentative developer designation of the Mission Hill Health Movement for a community garden project on Gore Street.

The commission addressed personnel changes, specifically the departure of the Department Director and the introduction of a successor. Key agenda items included the approval of contract amendments for the William E. Carter School project. These included an amendment regarding the assignment of a contract from Hill International, Inc. to LiRo Program and Construction Management, PE P.C., along with a time extension and funding increase. Additionally, an amendment was approved to increase the contract value for architectural design services provided by Perkins & Will Architects, Inc.
