The Preston County Commission held a work session to discuss funding for the Opioid Advisory Board. Proposals were presented by the Sheriff's Office and the Preston County Senior Center dba Buckwheat Express regarding transportation for individuals with substance abuse disorders. The discussion included the possibility of using Sheriff's Deputies for transportation and the potential for after-hours transportation from the emergency room. The commission also discussed saturation patrols, I-68 patrols, sober living for patients, mental health programs in schools, and the work of the Preston County Prevention Coordinator.

The Preston County Commission held an emergency session to discuss EMS Funding. The commission discussed the billing receivable summary report for KAMP Central Ambulance and determined the shortfall for making payroll. The commission provided an emergency contribution to KAMP Central Ambulance EMS for payroll from the Coal Severance Contribution Fund. The commission moved to go into an Executive Session for a legal matter and then came out of the Executive Session, advising that no action was taken as a result.

The Preston County Commission convened to address various matters, including reviewing and paying bills, addressing tax exonerations, and approving estate settlements. The commission proclaimed November 4-11, 2025, as Operation Greenlight to honor Veterans and active-duty service members. They discussed EMS emergency funding requests and approved budget revisions to support EMS funding during the Government shutdown. Additionally, letters of support were authorized to encourage bipartisan dialogue to reopen the federal government. The commission also addressed personnel and legal matters in executive session.

The Preston County Commission held a regular session where they reviewed and approved bills, as well as the Tax Correction List from the Assessor's Office. The commission received an update on county financial statements from the Sheriff's Office and discussed adjustments needed for closing financial records. They also discussed a Master Service Agreement, budget revisions for rental space and shredding costs, and miscellaneous correspondence including funding requests for Food for Preston and Preston County Day. Additionally, the commission held an executive session for personnel matters.

The Preston County Commission convened to discuss several key issues. The commission addressed exonerations from the Assessor's Office and proclaimed November as National Hospice and Palliative Care Month. They discussed an emergency funding request from Food for Preston, approving funds to address the loss of SNAP benefits, and addressed EMS funding, approving emergency funding for Terra Alta Ambulance and directly paying KAMP Ambulance's invoice for payroll processing. The commission also reviewed budget revisions, acknowledged Albright Volunteer Fire Department's financial obligation for new equipment, and discussed PSD#1 meeting regarding rate increases.
