This strategic plan serves as a roadmap for the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, aiming to enhance organizational effectiveness and achieve its goals over a five-year period. It is built upon the six pillars of 21st Century Policing, which include Building Trust and Legitimacy, Policy and Oversight, Technology and Social Media, Community Policing and Crime Reduction, Training and Education, and Officer Safety and Wellness. Key strategic priorities encompass crime victim assistance, crime reduction, drug abuse prevention, improving roadway safety, employee wellness and professional development, and fostering community partnerships and trust. The plan seeks to reduce crime, build community confidence, and improve public safety through values-based decision-making, a performance-driven culture, and strategic investments in human capital and technology.
