The Hamilton County Multi-Jurisdictional Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan focuses on reducing the loss of life and property damage resulting from natural hazards. It assesses risks associated with severe storms, winter storms, excessive heat, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, droughts, mine subsidence, and dam failures. The plan details mitigation strategies, including action identification, analysis, and prioritization, to lessen the effects of these hazards on citizens, infrastructure, and critical facilities across Hamilton County and its participating jurisdictions.
