This document describes HGTC's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), an initiative named 'EPIC' focused on 'Effective Professional and Interpersonal Communication'. The plan aims to enhance students' written and oral communication skills for academic, personal, and career advancement, preparing them to excel in the workplace. This QEP is a requirement for the institution's reaccreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, addressing a key need identified through surveys of students, employers, and campus community members.

An executive session was held to discuss personnel matters and contractual negotiations, resulting in an extension for negotiations for the purchase of real property near the existing campus. Additionally, the offering of the Correctional Officer Training Certificate Degree and the termination of the Medical Administrative Assistant Certificate Degree were approved.
