The meeting included discussions and potential actions regarding a new hotel opportunity, a municipal cannabis retailers' occupation tax, amendments to personnel rules to add a return-to-work policy, a hotel/motel grant, food trucks, the sale of village-owned property, naming a new road, library siding, a baseball fence, a chlorine gas safety system, and a rough cut mower. Also covered were reports from law enforcement and village staff, updates on engineering projects including the Maroa-Forsyth Grade School Bike Path, Forsyth Park LWCF Grant Compliance, Well No. 7, Barnett Ave Improvements, Water Towers maintenance, Parking Lot A Reconstruction, Prairie Winds Access Road, Bike Path Improvements, Road Maintenance, and Moon Street Improvements. The library provided updates on the Summer Reading program, new staff, partnerships with area teachers, the Community Garden, and upcoming events. The Public Works Department reported on village maintenance, permits, hydrant painting, mowing, and trash pickup, as well as priorities for storm grate repairs, sidewalk identification, mosquito spraying, Prairie Winds growth, road projects, and salt dome fencing. Also included discussion of hotel development incentives and a counterproposal.

The agenda included approval of minutes, warrants, and the treasurer's report. Discussions and potential actions were planned regarding the replacement of the Village Hall roof and IT services within the village buildings. Additionally, there was a discussion about a potential hotel within the village.

The agenda included the approval of a variance of the setback for driveways on Spyglass Boulevard, discussion and potential action for a change order at Well 7, regarding the Maroa Forsyth Bike Path construction observation contract, regarding a Village striping change order, regarding a fence quote for the salt dome, regarding rummage/garage/yard sales in the Village, regarding Stevens Creek Lift Station, and regarding an EPA permit. The board discussed and took action on an access road to County Highway 20, Prairie Winds roads and sewer construction services contract. The Library reported on summer reading sign-ups and various programs and the Engineer reported on the Maroa-Forsyth Grade School Bike Path, Forsyth Park LWCF Grant Compliance, Well No. 7, US Route 51 Improvements, Moon St Sidewalk Improvements, Barnett Ave Improvements, Water Towers, Ground Storage Tank, & Aerator Maintenance, Pavement Striping Design & Bid, Parking Lot A Reconstruction, and Prairie Winds Storm Sewer and Utilities. The Public Works Department maintained Village Hall, the Library, and other properties, worked on permits, ordinances, inspections, and concerns, and continued road patching and trash pickup.

The agenda includes approval of minutes from the previous regular meeting, approval of warrants, and approval of the treasurer's report for May 2025. The board will discuss amending the village code concerning garage sales. New business includes a presentation on the audit report for fiscal year 2024, approving an agreement with 12CProperties, LLC, and potential actions regarding roof replacements at Veterans Park Pavilion and Village Hall. They will also discuss an IT service proposal and maintenance for water towers, a ground storage tank, and an aerator.
