Additionally, the committee recommended a professional service agreement with the Morton Grove Niles Water Commission for the operation of water facilities and sought board approval to renew an energy contract via the Northern Illinois Municipal Electric Collaborative. The committee approved an updated vehicle immobilization and towing ordinance, discussed and approved an ordinance prohibiting the sale of unregulated THC products and other intoxicating substances, and reviewed a new police phlebotomy service for DUI investigations. Additionally, the committee approved updated delegate appointments for the Northeastern Illinois Public Safety Training Academy and reviewed changes to the testing model and pricing structure for IOS Solutions regarding personnel recruitment.
