The Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) for Isanti County is a strategic, community-driven roadmap designed to enhance health and well-being across the county. Developed with extensive community input, the 2026-2030 plan outlines measurable actions to improve the population's health over five years, focusing on three key priority areas: Mental Health, Food, Housing and Income, and Alcohol & Substance Use. It aims to guide collaborative efforts by turning community health assessment findings into focused interventions.

The board meeting included the approval of various personnel action items, utility permits, and county claims and warrants. The board also approved Isanti County Health and Human Services payments and vouchers, along with contract amendments. Discussion topics covered the approval of a phone tree for PSAP administration, a resolution for the Becklin Homestead County Park, recycling facility and solid waste licenses for 2026, and the acceptance of bids for the annual gravel program and pavement markings for contract 2610. Additionally, the board received updates on the Minnesota Paid Leave program and reviewed personnel committee items.

The meeting agenda includes discussions on the budget report and the approval of bills and invoices. The Board addressed multiple operational and administrative items, including the approval of a Gambling Permit Application for the Cambridge Isanti Hockey Association, personnel actions involving the ratification of a Finance Director hire and an Assistant Veterans Services Officer resignation, and the approval of final plats and utility permits. A resolution was passed to confirm and ratify the Isanti, Kanabec, Pine, and Chisago Joint County Drainage Authority for JD 6. The Board also approved a cooperative agreement with the State of Minnesota for improvements to the Becklin Homestead County Park entrance road and parking lot, authorized the purchase of new lawn mowers, approved 2026 equipment rental rates, and entered into an agreement with Oertel Architects Ltd. for the Highway Department Facility Project.

The meeting included the approval of various personnel action items, acceptance of county donations, and issuance of gambling permits for the Cambridge-Isanti Hockey Association. Several final plats and utility permits were approved, along with health and human services contract amendments for Region 7E AMHI and agreements with outside service providers. The board approved the reformation of the Judicial Ditch 4 Joint Board and addressed recommendations from the Planning Commission, including the approval of architectural and engineering service agreements for facility projects.
