The Board authorized the execution of a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement regarding the construction of the River Parishes Community College (RPCC) Donaldsonville Training Center in collaboration with Hyundai Steel Company and Louisiana Economic Development. The Board approved the award of a Design Services Contract for the RPCC Training Center to a joint venture between Domain Architecture APAC and DLR Group. Additionally, the Board accepted the Guaranteed Maximum Price for the Delgado Community College Culinary and Workforce Projects, submitted by Landis Construction Co., LLC.

The board selected Jones Walker, LLP as Bond Counsel for the Multiple Projects Program after evaluating proposals. Additionally, the board selected Raymond James & Associates, Inc. and Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc. to provide bond underwriting support on a rotating basis, with Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc. designated to lead the first transaction for Act 35 and related projects.

The board approved Change Order #3 for the Fletcher Technical Community College New Workforce Training Building project in Schriever, which involves a contract amount increase and a time extension to accommodate electrical infrastructure and generator installations. Additionally, the board authorized expenditures for furniture, fixtures, and equipment to support the new Nunez Community College Student Testing and Career Counseling Center in Chalmette.

The board reviewed and approved the award of the Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) services contract for the River Parishes Community College Training Center in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. This action followed a selection committee's recommendation resulting from an RFQ process, ultimately authorizing the contract for Arkel Constructors to support the facility's development.

The committee reviewed project updates, an audit plan progress report, and legislative auditor reports. The audit plan progress report highlighted reviews of restricted fees, purchase travel cards, and ongoing disaster recovery work at various colleges. The legislative auditor reports focused on findings at Fletcher Technical Community College regarding accounting entries for compensated absences and a reimbursement transaction involving the college foundation. It was concluded that all system colleges remain financially healthy.
