The committee discussed planning for a Caterpillar Lab movie event and reviewed various ongoing projects including the 250th Garden installation, the Community Garden Pollinator Garden, the Garlic Mustard Challenge, and an upcoming community art show at the library. Additional agenda items included planning for the July 4th parade, coordination of public educational programs, invasive plant management plan updates, early detection and rapid response project initiatives, and review of various town projects. The committee also touched upon grant management activities and ongoing partnerships with other town committees and organizations.

The committee discussed collaborative opportunities for film screenings with local land trusts, provided updates on an Earth Day project, and debated participation in the upcoming 4th of July parade. Updates were provided on the status of various project work, including gardens, local displays, and invasive plant management initiatives. There was extensive discussion regarding the proposed plan to incorporate invasive plant management requirements into town guidance and policies, particularly concerning private land development, farmland, public land maintenance, and chemical control usage.

The meeting focused on discussing logistics in preparation for the upcoming Annual Town Meeting, including the review of articles and potential presenters.

The board conducted its reorganization, electing a new Chair and Clerk, and reviewed appointments for the North Middlesex Council of Governments. Key agenda items included a public hearing for a liquor license transfer for 75 Main Street, which was approved, and a detailed planning session for the upcoming Annual Town Meeting, covering warrant articles such as budget presentations, capital projects, PFAS remediation, and IT infrastructure improvements. The board also renewed junk dealer licenses, initiated a formal review and adoption process for a new Financial Policy, and established a calendar for future meetings, including goals and committee reporting.

The Commission met to discuss several key items, including a presentation from the Cultural Council regarding grant opportunities for arts and recreation projects. Requests for additional storage were reviewed for both the Soccer and Softball programs. Updates were provided on the Eagle Scout Volleyball Court project, upcoming community activities such as the Middle School Dance and Easter Egg Hunt, and the status of Community Preservation Committee requests for field projects. The Commission also discussed the progress of the Statue of Col. Prescott working group and reviewed upcoming capital items and financial planning priorities to be presented at the town meeting.
