This 2023 Plainfield Township Master Plan Amendment updates the 2016 Master Plan, serving as a strategic guide for the next five to twenty years. The plan integrates demographic trends, public input, and revised goals to shape the Township's future. Key focus areas include preserving rural character, natural features, and quality of life for residents, alongside managed growth in housing, recreational amenities, and commercial development. It also prioritizes improving community services, infrastructure, and supporting parks and recreation, supported by an updated future land use map and implementation plan.

The board meeting covered various topics including agenda approval, public comments, financial and budget reports, a budget amendment, bill payments, a waste site update, 2025 budget discussions focusing on projects and wages, waste card roll additions, a lot split approval, the dissolution of the Big Island Lake SAD and refund of remaining funds, additions to the fire department, approval of a new township truck purchase, and the adoption of a social media management program.

The Special Election Committee meeting focused on approving election workers and chairs for the November 5th, 2024 election. The committee also approved the Election Receiving Board for the same election.

The meeting included approval of the agenda, minutes from the February 19th, 2025 meeting, bills, a budget amendment, and the opening and closing of the 2025-2026 budget hearing. Other approvals included the 2025-2026 General Appropriations Act, 2025 wages, a fireworks contract with Wolverine Fireworks, a parade resolution, additional charges for fire department rig repairs, an earned sick time policy change, and a lot split request for the Peters subdivision.

A public hearing was held regarding the Big Island Lake Improvement Board. Discussion and comments were received from four people before the hearing was closed due to needing further information on the direction of Wilber Township.
