The Council approved the allocation of a $700 annual subscription for an ArcGIS Online account and up to $2,000 to Archaeology in the Community for the development of archaeology teaching kits. Additionally, the Council approved contracts for the Program Manager and Senior Advisor positions, both scheduled to commence on July 1, 2026, and conclude on June 30, 2027.

The Council reviewed tribal reports, including planning for youth camps, cultural activities, and powwows by the Lower Muskogee Creek Tribe. Reports also covered greenhouse operations, food sovereignty grant applications, vocational rehabilitation collaborations, and ongoing work on history and education initiatives with local cities and counties. Advocacy efforts were noted regarding USDA NRCS and census participation. The Cherokee of Georgia Tribal Council reported on their upcoming powwow and a new agreement with a local Boy Scout Troop. Financial business included the unanimous approval of $5,000 allocations to both the Georgia Partnership for Innovation and Birds Georgia.

The council approved a funding request by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources for the replacement of audiovisual equipment at the Etowah Indian Mounds State Historic Site. Furthermore, the council resolved to issue a letter of support for the Lower Muskogee Creek Tribe's grant application concerning vocational rehabilitation program funding. Members were also requested to submit ideas for the PIN project.

The Council approved the allocation of $5,000 to the Georgia Partnership for Innovation and an allocation of $5,000 to Birds Georgia.

The Council meeting involved several key actions. The Council approved the minutes from the January 30, 2025 meeting. A funding request from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources totaling $7,485 was approved for replacing the AV equipment at Etowah Indian Mounds State Historic Site. Furthermore, the Council consented to having Christian Dane draft a letter of support for the Lower Muscogee Creek Tribe's grant application pertaining to vocational rehabilitation program funding.
