The ordinance amends Section 6 of Ordinance No. 496, adjusting the rates for sanitary sewer charges. The revised rates include charges for sewage treatment directly from customers using the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority (Alcosan) facilities, along with a flat fee per customer and a charge per thousand gallons consumed. These rates are set to take effect on January 1, 2026.

The ordinance adopts a revenue and expenditure budget for Fiscal Year 2026, detailing estimated revenues from various sources such as real property taxes, local tax enabling act, building permits, business licenses, fines, interest earnings, shared revenue and grants, charges for service, public safety, miscellaneous sources, and utility fees. It also covers proposed expenditures for administration, community development, police service, fire, ambulance and EMA, public service, debt service, pension, and capital improvements. The budget is authorized for implementation in accordance with state statutes and the Township of O'Hara code of ordinances.

The meeting focused on reviewing Township Parks Rules and Regulations, including discussions on firearms, food trucks, bike speeds, and permitted animals. The commission addressed concerns about pickleball court usage, private lessons, and children playing in sand. There was a discussion regarding meeting attendance policies for volunteers, scheduling an annual parks tour to visit various Township parks, and potential improvements to Schafer Park. Restroom maintenance and vandalism in parks were also discussed.
