The committee agenda includes an audit report presentation and review of the annual report. Program overviews will be provided for Measure H 2018 and Measure I 2024, focusing on project updates, financial reports, and specific site information. Additionally, the committee will engage in discussions regarding future agenda planning and meeting locations, and conclude with a site tour of Tennyson High School.

This Outreach Plan outlines a comprehensive strategy for community engagement regarding LGBTQ+ individuals and policies, developed in response to a Board of Education directive. The plan aims to address misinformation, clarify the district's role in supporting the LGBTQ+ community, and ensure all students and staff feel welcomed and supported. Key objectives include proactively communicating existing LGBTQ+ resources, supporting staff and families in addressing questions or concerns about LGBTQ+-inclusive student support, and providing access to safe spaces for LGBTQ+ students and allies within schools.

The meeting focused on the roles and responsibilities of Advisory Board members, updates on teacher induction and accreditation, and a review of the Equity, Climate, and Opportunity (ECO) rubric. Additionally, the board examined mid-year induction survey results and data from spring networking activities, and concluded with a discussion on communicating the Teacher Induction Program to various constituencies.

The meeting included sessions on land acknowledgement, icebreaker activities, and announcements regarding Horizon Services. The presentation covered practical strategies for advocating in public meetings and school committees, including effective communication techniques and building a collective voice. A detailed overview of various district and school committees—such as the School Site Council, English Learner Advisory Committees, and special education town halls—was provided to equip parents with the knowledge to participate in decision-making processes. Additionally, the meeting included reminders about the upcoming Board Induction Ceremony.

This School Plan for Student Success (SPSA) outlines strategic initiatives to maximize resources and enhance student achievement for Martin Luther King, Jr. Intermedio. It focuses on several key areas: fostering deeper learning in language arts, mathematics, English language development, and visual and performing arts. Additionally, the plan aims to build relationship-centered schools by improving the school climate, socio-emotional learning, parent engagement, and student attendance, while actively reducing chronic absenteeism. The overarching goal is to align with state accountability and control goals, ensuring equitable access and support for all students.
