The commission also discussed agency updates and project reports from the City of Alturas Public Works Department, Modoc County Road Department, and Caltrans District 2. Additionally, there was a staff update and discussion of correspondence and the calendar, including future meeting dates and holiday schedules.

The Modoc County Transportation Commission's meeting included discussions on various topics such as adopting Resolution 24-06 to authorize the Executive Director to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Caltrans for Regional Planning Assistance, and approving Amendment #1 to the 2024/25 Overall Work Plan. Updates were provided by the City of Alturas Public Works Department, Modoc County Road Department, Caltrans District 2, and the Modoc County Transportation Commission. Staff also provided updates and discussed correspondence and calendar items. The meeting also involved confirming appointments to the Social Service Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC) and adopting Resolution 24-05 in appreciation of Cheryl Nelson's service to MCTC. Additionally, there was a discussion on MCTC account restructuring and reporting.

The Modoc County Transportation Commission (MCTC) meeting agenda included discussions and actions related to the 2025 Public Participation Plan, the Fiscal Year 2024/25 Final Budget, the 2024-25 Assets Inventory and Disposition, the final 2025/26 Overall Work Plan, and the Streets & Roads claim for the City of Alturas. The meeting also involved updates from the City of Alturas Public Works Department, Modoc County Road Department, Caltrans District 2, and the Modoc County Transportation Commission. Additionally, the commission addressed the definition of FY 2025/26 Unmet Transit Needs and Needs Reasonable to Meet, Local Transportation Fund and State Transit Assistance Allocations, and the adoption of the Final 2024 Modoc Short Range Transit Plan.
