The Council conducted an executive session regarding human resources and employment matters. Administrative updates were provided concerning the Toscana Interior Improvement project, rental agreements for Klima Gardens, Marcelline Court Homes, and ongoing sewer and pavement projects. The Council passed legislation including the November payment of claims, clarification of community reinvestment area exemptions for village-owned structures, fiscal year appropriation adjustments, participation in the Mill Creek Watershed Partnership, and an ordinance regarding document accuracy. Additionally, motions were authorized to solicit bids for the Toscana Hall project and police department mechanical upgrades, and to approve security and technology installations at Toscana Hall. Other business included announcements regarding holiday community events and charitable programs.

The council discussed various municipal projects, including courts, gardens, pavement replacement, and business site improvements. Multiple resolutions were passed, authorizing marketing services for 2026, participation in a state capital improvement grant program, applications for a county supplemental grant, a jail housing lease agreement with the City of North Royalton, and change orders for local site improvement projects. Additionally, an ordinance for fiscal year 2026 appropriations and transfers was adopted, and reports were provided regarding upcoming community events and election outcomes.

The council meeting included the election of the Council President and the adoption of various legislative resolutions and ordinances. Council also discussed light timing complaints, condolences to the Byrne family, and updates on homes on Marcelline Court.

The council discussed the NCIP grant, compensation of a public official in an executive session, and financial reports. They approved the July payment of certain claims and transfers, recognized the need for Cuyahoga County's resurfacing of Harvard Road, and amended sections of the codified ordinances to provide additional benefits to non-bargaining unit village employees. Additionally, they set compensation schedule ranges for non-elected village employees and officials, set the compensation for elected officials for calendar years 2026-2029, authorized a change order for the Klima Gardens Improvements Project, and authorized an agreement with Stone Road Studio LLC for interior design renovation projects. They also authorized a right of entry agreement with the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District for sewer improvements and a purchase order for the Bacci Park Softball Field Improvements Project, waiving competitive bidding requirements. The council also discussed the Klima Gardens Improvement Project bid and received reports from various officials, including the Director of Communications with the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
