The Taylor County Board of Education meeting included a new construction update, the presentation and approval of the auditor's report, and approval of multiple pay estimates for the Taylor County Primary Center and Taylor County High School. The meeting included presentations on launching the Taylor County Alumni Scholarship and a new construction update. Key approvals included several pay estimates for the Taylor County Primary Center and the new high school project, along with multiple change orders for the high school. Other approvals covered tax rates, the working budget, funding for FFA student competitions, starting an archery program at the intermediate school, and several shortened school day waivers.
