The Commission reviewed a complaint filed against a candidate regarding the display of required "paid for by" disclosure statements on campaign signs. Following an investigation, the Commission was unable to substantiate claims that the candidate violated campaign finance disclosure requirements, as evidence indicated the stickers were affixed and the removal could not be confirmed. Consequently, the Commission found no reasonable grounds for a violation and dismissed the complaint.

The Commission addressed the disqualification of a candidate for the Missouri State Representative District 159 seat due to the failure to file a required Personal Financial Disclosure statement by the established deadline. Staff were instructed to notify the appropriate election officials of this disqualification from the upcoming election.

The Commission determined that several candidates failed to file a Personal Financial Disclosure statement by the deadline for the April 7, 2026, election. The Commission instructed staff to notify the relevant officials that these candidates are disqualified from the election pursuant to Section 105.492.2, RSMo. Disqualified candidates included those running for School District Board Member, Alderman, Council Member, and Mayor positions.
