The board reviewed recommendations from the Violations Committee concerning various complaints and discussed the feasibility of providing student scholarships, which was found to be financially unsustainable at this time. Additionally, the board reviewed progress on direct access legislation, noting current opposition to proposed changes.
The board reviewed various reports, including licensee, financial, and violations committee reports. A discussion was held regarding Direct Access legislation, with the creation of a 2026 Working Group to address the matter. Reports were given on new licensee activity, renewals, and recommendations from the Violations Committee. The Interim Executive Director reported on resuming work in the office and a blast email sent to licensees concerning a fraud Phishing Scam.
