The board meeting included a financial report, the superintendent's report which covered school preparedness for Coronavirus issues and recognition of staff achievements, a curriculum report on STEM and STEAM, approval of fundraisers, discussion of a budget amendment (action deferred to April), appointment of a GSBA delegate and alternate, approval of an MOU between SCSS and OTC, and approval of board policies GAD-Professional Learning Opportunities and KI-Free Materials Distribution in Schools. The meeting also included an executive session to discuss personnel matters, followed by actions affirming staff recommendations for the 2020-2021 school year, staff resignations, staff retirements, substitute appointments, bus driver training assignments, and the appointment of a CTAE Test Coordinator.
