Sponsorships for the Viva North Platte event and support for a Fourth of July event in Madison were also approved. Financial reports were reviewed, and the director's report was approved. The meeting included public comments from Las Voces and Rural Prosperity Nebraska. The agenda and minutes from the October 13th, 2022, meeting were approved. Unfinished business included discussions on the sponsorship process proposal, the Nebraska Latino Youth Summit 2022, and a community survey follow-up. New business included presentations from new commissioners Sandra Lopez and Adi Nancy Dobbins, a discussion on the commission name, and a marketing and communication specialist presentation and updates. The board also discussed Unidos US membership, the Unidos Change Makers Summit, honoring Commissioner Yesenia Peck, monthly community meetings, and website updates. Financial reports were reviewed, and the director presented their report. An executive session was held, and commissioners provided their reports. The next meeting was scheduled, and the meeting was adjourned.
