The plan, supported by the FY2026 budget, focuses on investments in compensation and benefits, safe and welcoming schools, literacy proficiency, college and career readiness, and comprehensive support for every student, aiming to ensure academic excellence and prepare all students for success.

The committee meeting addressed several key financial and administrative topics, including a quarterly investment performance update, manager reviews, and a 2026 asset allocation review. Further discussions focused on private markets recommendations, the transfer of funds, and various administrative matters such as the 2026 Cost of Living Adjustment, expense reporting and forecasts, cash management, and trustee educational and legislative updates.

Additionally, the meeting addressed the importance of parental involvement, student support for literacy, and the need for balancing traditional life skills with technological adaptability.
